The first My Baby Nest™ was made by Keren Levi after trying numerous slings and carriers, but finding nothing that was easy to wear or comfortable. Nothing gave her precious newborn baby the support and comfort she needed; very important in a city like New York City.
Keren was on a mission to find an innovative design: at one point she cut a wrap in half and tied the ends together; but the fabric was wrong. Keren found a fabric similar to what she had in mind, and the first time she wore her original design in public, she was stopped on the street by complete strangers. She then began taking orders for her ingenious design. Along with her husband Saar, they began the search for the perfect fabric that would be durable, long lasting, and function as needed for Keren’s design.

After 18 months of research and development, a fabric was custom made exclusively for My Baby Nest™ that had the strength, stretch, and comfort they sought. Finally, Keren had found a fabric that met the requirements she wanted for her baby, and knew other Moms would want, too. Keren enlisted the help of other Moms to test the prototype, and using the feedback she received, created the My Baby Nest™ carrier we have today.
